ELECTRIC HIGH - Walls Fall Down

ELECTRIC HIGH latest EP ‘Walls Fall Down’ shows the band in all their glory, with addictive hooks and sweltering riffs across all featured songs. Smothered in passion and strong song writing, ‘Walls Fall Down’ marks Electric High as a band to watch out for.

A high-voltage rock band influenced by artists such as Wolfmother, Aerosmith and Black Sabbath, Electric High go straight for the throat, fronted by two in-your-face lead singers while the band shoots out pure electric power. The members of Electric High hail from bands like Sahg, Faith Circus, and Emmerhoff & The Melancholy Babies, and include PV Staff (lead vocals), Olav Iversen (lead vocals), Marius Mørch (guitars), Einride Torvik (bass), and Tor Helge Opdahl (drums).

The EP begins with the title track, which starts out as a breezy, melodic rock song driven by catchy guitar riffs and steady drumming. The song later launches into a powerful refrain, and then into a heavier bridge section; while after the compelling next verse and chorus, the bridge returns with electrifying bass and guitar solos. The track culminates in a powerful final chorus that truly gives the impression of walls falling down, before the memorable lead guitar theme nicely concludes the track.

The second song on the EP, “Rough Diamond,”highlighted by a rolling guitar riff and soulful vocal melodies underscored by catchy rhythms to create an impressive classic rock sound.

Walls Fall Down is a very impressive EP, highlighting not only the brilliant songwriting and superb musicianship of Electric High, but also their incredible musical versatility. While Electric High’s sound is generally rooted in hard rock influences, each track on Walls Fall Down succeeds in exploring a unique sound that reveals the wide scope of their music inspirations, demonstrating the band’s penchant for crafting amazing rock songs that continue to break new ground.
